Students of Civil Engineering participated in National Technology Day 2023 on May 11, 2023. On this occasion, the honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, addressed all the technical citizens of India through a live webcast. Dr. J. Guru Jawahar, a Professor of Civil Engineering, spoke to the Civil Engineering students about nuclear bomb explosions and advanced technologies and developments in remote sensing and satellite applications. Mr. A. Anil, the Head of the Civil Engineering department, shared his insights on upcoming technologies in hydrology using GIS.
