A Talk on Cultural Sensitivity - Promotion of Leadership in Women-25-02-2025
On February 25, 2025, AITS, Tirupati conducted an inspiring session on “Cultural Sensitivity – Promotion of Leadership in Women” at the Annamayya Auditorium. The program, held in the morning, was specially organized for B.Tech I-year girl students and women faculty members.
Key Highlights:
- Dr. C. Nadhamuni Reddy, Principal emphasized the importance of setting SMART goals for academic and personal success. He introduced the 10-3-2-1-0 Sleep Rule for better sleep hygiene and discussed topics like procrastination, time management, and prioritizing productive activities.
- Dr. K. Ramya (IQAC Coordinator) shared insights on dignity, discipline, and lessons from Indian epics like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, stressing the value of parental guidance and wise decision-making.
- Dr. I. Suneetha (WPC Convener) addressed the dangers of unhealthy/unfair relationships and their impact on mental well-being.
- Dr. N. Pushpalatha (ICC Presiding Officer) spoke on the negative effects of online gaming, betting, and excessive mobile phone use on students’ academic performance and mental health.
The session aimed to foster leadership, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence among young women, encouraging them to lead with confidence, responsibility, and cultural understanding.
