Internal Hackathon for SIH 2024

The Institute Innovation Cell (IIC) of Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Tirupati organized an Ideathon from 2nd to 6th September 2024, as part of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2024) initiative by the Ministry of Education. 

The event received an overwhelming response from engineering students, with 63 teams presenting their innovative ideas on SIH theme topics. After rigorous evaluation by the jury, the best 29 ideas were shortlisted and communicated to the Ministry of Education, New Delhi. Faculty mentors guided and motivated participants to refine their projects and prepare for the National-Level competition in November 2024. 

Outstanding ideas included Soil Analysis, Pothole Detection System, AI-Powered Student Assistant Chatbot, Smart Irrigation, and Smart Education. The Ideathon also encouraged innovations in healthcare, renewable energy, and environmental sustainability, showcasing the creative potential of young engineers. 

Through active mentorship and collaboration, the event fostered an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, aligning with the goals of the Smart India Hackathon. AITS takes pride in nurturing future innovators committed to building a smarter, sustainable nation.
