Annamacharya Institute of science & Technology, Tirupati has inaugurated eco-Lution club on 17 March 2023 by Honorable Chief Guest Dr N. MUNILAKSHMI garu SV University. In this event she spoke about pollution, how it effects the environment, and also she appreciated the initiation of eco club by the civil department & IQAC which involves the participation of students in learning about improving their environment with small thoughts which can create lot of impact in day to day activities. As part of this event, some activities have been conducted like poster presentation, electrical vehicle rally. The students showed their interest by participating in poster presentation with Green concepts and through various electrical bikes, bicycles. Electrical vehicle rally can create awareness on renewable energy. Chief guest has visited and appreciated concepts and projects done by Final year civil engineering students like constructed Tree bench using PET Bottles and Rural water management on flood cases. By addressing on this occasion Principal Dr C Nadhamuni Reddy regarding the goals of the Environmental Club advised to increase awareness of environmental issues among faculty, staff, administration and students; and students to become better stewards of the environment .Dr K Ramya & Mrs K Sumavalli members of IQAC organized the Eco-Lution club. In this Programme ECO-Lution club president &Civil head of the department Mr A Anil, Professor J Guru Jawahar & Staff students etc participated.
