Guest Lecture on Deep Learning

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a guest lecture on 28th September 2024 for IV-I semester students (Sections A, B & C) under the guidance of Mr. B. Ramana Reddy, HoD-CSE. 

Dr. Chandra Sekhar Vorugunti, R&D Samsung and Visiting Professor at BITS Pilani, delivered the session on Deep Learning: Industry Use Cases and Implementation. Around 200 students actively participated. 

Dr. Vorugunti discussed the fundamentals of AI, ML, and Deep Learning, applications of CNN, RNN (LSTM), and GANs, and demonstrated Python-based implementations using Keras, sklearn, and matplotlib. The interactive session concluded with a Q&A and book distribution to active participants.
