International Women's Day 2024

The Women Empowerment Cell (WEC), in association with the Women Protection Cell (WPC), Internal Complaint Committee (ICC), and Internal Quality and Assurance Cell (IQAC) of AITS, Tirupati, organized International Women’s Day Celebrations on 6th March 2024 at Anamaya Auditorium.

Key Highlights:

• Chief Guest Smt. P. Deepthi, Member, Annamacharya Educational Trust, discussed balancing professional life with biological cycles and the importance of supportive environments.
• Dr. G. Rama Devi, Neurologist, Amara Hospitals, spoke on stress management and mental health.
• Dr. T. Sita Kumari, Professor of Law, SPMVV, highlighted women’s legal rights and protections.
• Dr. Lakshmi Sandhya, Oncologist, SVICCAR, gave an awareness session on cancer prevention and HPV vaccination.

The event was a grand success, celebrating women’s achievements and emphasizing empowerment for a progressive society. A Vibrant cultural program was held for the girl students.
