Women Hygiene-Happy Uterus and Healthy Periods-13-02-2025

In association with Women Empowerment cell (WEC), Women Protection Cell (WPC), Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) and Internal Quality and Assurance cell (IQAC) of AITS, Tirupati conducted an awareness program on ” Women Hygiene-Happy Uterus and Healthy Periods” to from prevent Cancers in Anamaya auditorium on 13thFebruary 2025 by Mr. M. Ananth (Social Entrepreneur and Menstrual Hygiene Education) & Mrs. K. Jayasree B.Sc. Nursing Staff Nurse (Pediatrics NICU & PICU). In this sessions Mr. Ananth addressed the gathering and both are advised the maintaining good menstrual hygiene and overall uterine health is essential for women’s well-being. Regular menstrual cycles, a clean and healthy uterus, and proper hygiene practices during menstruation are not only vital for physical comfort but also for preventing long-term health issues, including cancers like cervical and endometrial cancers. This program was organized for B. Tech II & III-year girl students and women faculty of the college.
